Windlestone Parish Council is committed to being open and transparent. Each year the Council reviews its Financial Risk Assessment (see below) and receives an Internal Audit of its Accounts (see Annual Accounts for year ending 31st March 2020 below) which comprises a Bank Reconciliation Statement, Internal Auditors Report, Sections 1 & 2 of the Annual Governance and Audit Statement, and an analysis of any significant variances from the previous years accounts). Although the Council is exempt from receiving a full External Audit (see Exemption certificate included in the Annual Accounts below) an External Auditor has been appointed to deal with any issues raised in relation to the Council's Accounts.
Any residents wanting to view the Councils Accounts are welcome to do so during the Notice Period for the Exercise of Public Rights (in accordance with Regulation 15 (2) of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 which for the year ending 31st March 2020 is:
